Last week, we had an incredible clinic led by Dawson Cleveland and Clara Blatz:
“Getting Show Ready: What to Do at Home & On Show Day.”
We were excited to welcome members from Foothills Sheep & Multi Club and Longview Beef Club to join our crew for an evening packed with practical tips and hands-on learning.
We covered:
Feeding at home and on show day
Heads Up training
Hair care prep
What show day looks like from start to finish (especially for our new members!)
The best part? Candy bag rewards for members who asked questions - which led to some fantastic discussion and learning moments!
Opportunities like this are so important. Getting our projects off the farm to see, hear, and smell new environments builds confidence and prepares both members and calves for the show ring.
